The week preceding the game, participants attend camp which on top of regular practices includes multiple fun activities.

July 12 10:00a.m. – Coaches and Managers report to camp at UNI Campus

July 13 1:00-2:00p.m. – Players report to camp, Lawther Hall at UNI Campus – please see digitally embed UNI Campus map for reference

July 13 Practices begin; this evening a Shriners Children’s Ambassador will come to speak about his experience as a former Shrine Hospital Patient.

July 14 9:00a.m. – Cheerleaders report to camp, Lawther Hall at UNI Campus

July 15 8:00p.m. Iowa Shrine Bowl BOWLING Extravaganza – Maple Lanes (Presented by Za Ga Zig Bowlers)

July16 3:00-6:00p.m. Lost Island Water Park, followed by picnic dinner at Gateway Park hosted by El Kahir Shrine at 6:30p.m.

July 17 5:00-7:00p.m. Participant Hog Roast at Reinbeck VFW – please wear Iowa Shrine Bowl t-shirt and hat. (Presented by Iowa Pork Producers & Dennis Wiley PP)

July 18 10:00a.m. Beyond the Field – Mini Kids Camp for Shriners’ Children and their parents/guardians, Iowa Shrine Bowl participants and Coaches at the UNI Dome. BBQ lunch sponsored by Fareway. Educational sessions for participants and coaches with Shriners Children’s Ambassadors and staff from Shriners Children’s Twin Cities.

July 18 6:00p.m. Honor Banquet – Hilton Garden Inn, Cedar Falls – Parents, family members, friends and sponsors are welcome to attend. Advance registration and ticket purchase is required. Meal price $35 each. Game participants are complimentary. Tickets will be available for online purchase until sold out. Sponsored by Hy-Vee.

July 19 9:30a.m. Iowa Shrine Bowl Parade – Route TBD. Following parade participants gather at River Place Plaza for autographs and pep rally.

Participants should check out of Lawther Hall prior to game.

July 19 4:00p.m. Iowa Shrine Bowl Game – UNI Dome, Cedar Falls; Doors open at 2:00p.m.
